Musina - 40km

Musina (formerly Messina) is the northernmost town in the Limpopo province of South Africa. It is located near the confluence of the Limpopo River with the Sand River and the border to Zimbabwe. It has a population of between 20,000 and 40,000. Iron ore, coal, magnetite, graphite, asbestos, diamonds, semi-precious stones and copper are mined in the region.

Mapungubwe National Park - 115km

Mapungubwe National Park and World Heritage Site is the ideal location for anyone interested in wildlife and birds, to those in search of serenity, identity and the extraordinary history of this Park.

Kruger Nationa Park - Pafuri Gate - 158km

The vegetation in the Pafuri region of Kruger Park includes a diverse mix of South African lowveld and African woodlands. Here you will find various trees including bushwillow species, silver cluster leaves and white syringa.

Sagole Baobab - 100km

The Sagole Baobab (also Sagole Big Tree, Muri kunguluwa (i.e. tree that roars), or Muvhuyu wa Makhadzi) is the largest baobab tree (Adansonia digitata) in South Africa.

Nwanedi Provincial Park - 74km

The Nwanedi park has an area of about 11,170 ha and includes a part of the wooded foothills of the Soutpansberg Range. The twin dams, the Nwanedi Dam and the Luphephe Dam, at the confluence of the Nwanedi River and its main tributary, the Luphephe River, are located in the protected area.

Blouberg Nature Reserve - 142km

Situated in the lowveld of northern Limpopo, it is graced with a beautiful mountain as well as typical bushveld. The varying topography, from mountain down to the plains and the Brak River in the south lends itself to a rich diversity of plant and animal life. Our reserve has five different veld types!
